Navigation in its simplest form is knowing (or finding) your location and then following a route to your destination. In this class we give you a high level introduction to the tools needed. We’ll cover maps, coordinate systems, compass reading, GPS systems and how all these technologies can integrate so that you can successfully navigate for your overland adventures. We will also show you how to translate between GPS and maps and give an introduction to route logging.
